Here are some of my favorite ways to use these free tyrannosaurus rex coloring pages:
- Color them using crayons, markers, or colored pencils, and tape them to your wall!
- Make a T Rex coloring book! Print off ten of your favorite designs and staple them together. Have fun working your way through your coloring book. This is a great idea for road trips, vacations, or on-the-go activities.
- Experiment with different mediums, such as watercolor or chalk.
- Cut out your T-rex dinosaurs and paste them onto a poster board. Decorate the posterboard with an amazing T-rex habitat the dinosaurs will love! Hang it up somewhere special in your house.

Tyrannosaurus Rex is a dinosaur that most kids love! It could grow up to 40 feet in length and 12 feet in height! There used to be approximately 2.5 billion T. rexes on Earth, and they are one of the largest carnivores on Earth in recorded history. If you look closely at the coloring pages, you’ll notice that the T-Rex had short but strong arms. An interesting fact about the T-Rex is that the females were bigger than the males! This is not usually the case in mammals.
T-Rex dinosaurs were smarter than other dinosaurs and had a more highly developed part of their brain that is commonly known as the cerebrum. Even though they had extremely short arms, they were known for their sharp claws and teeth. Their eyesight was also very good, which could have been better than modern-day eagles and hawks.
The Tyrannosaurus Rex could live to 28 years old, and they reached their adult size as a teenager. They are known to be one of the most ferocious predators to ever walk the Earth! It’s probably a very good thing they are no longer around. In fact, they’ve been extinct for around 65 million years! Scientists can only guess why all the dinosaurs went extinct, and it continues to be a mystery why!
