Scavs are easy to find, but when you get quests that require you to eliminate more than 20 Scavs, you would want to finish it in two to three raids.
Getting more than 20 Scavs is absolutely possible, but you need to familiarize yourself with the map and their spawns. On top of that, you need to win all the battles, including the possibility of fighting other PMCs and even Killa.
In this guide, we will show you where to find Scavs in Interchange and how to farm them efficiently and as fast as possible.

Scav Farm Locations
In this section, we will discuss all the best locations for Scavs and find an optimal route after discussing each area.
IDEA
IDEA is the best way to farm Scavs because there could literally be dozens that spawn in the area. Once you go up from the escalator near the main entrance, Scavs can already spawn towards your left and by the cash registers.
If you circle around IDEA from the computer office side, you’ll see a lot of Scav spawns and start going from left to right and sweep the whole place.
After clearing IDEA, go to the escalator going down to the basem*nt (escalator close to Trend going down). You will find more Scavs here. Killa can also spawn on every single area for the whole route, so be careful.
Scav Camp
Scav Camp is the co-op extraction outside where you need a player Scav to extract as a PMC. As a PMC, you can spawn here at the start, but Scavs will never spawn at the start. However, they can spawn a few minutes after.
The whole road near the extraction can have Scavs roaming, and they can shoot you past 150 meters as long as they have a vision. It is best to go to Scav Camp after doing your business inside the mall, and your extraction is on Railway.
OLI
OLI is as large as IDEA and also has a bunch of Scavs. After running Interchange, I would still say IDEA has more Scavs than OLI, but it is close.
You can start your route at the back near the Emercom ramp and head straight to the middle. You will find most of the Scavs near the cash registers or near the escalator at the back.
If you spawn at the side or near the parking area with the containers, you can go from the front of OLI and head up to the main entrance.
The Scavs can roam all the way from the OLI offices to the whole OLI, including the escalator going down near the back. Killa can also spawn near the cash registers, under the escalator, and in the middle of OLI.
Middle of Interchange
The middle of Interchange has a ton of Scavs from the first floor up to the second floor. The walkways outside the stores of Sushi, Starducks, Orange logo store, Viking store, Brutal, National, Mantis, German, and KIBA can have Scavs roaming around.
They can extend all the way up to the TT store, Goshan tents, 2nd-floor food court, and Rasmussen.
These Scavs are scattered everywhere in the middle, and their quantity can fluctuate a lot. You might find more than ten or even none. However, if you wait long enough, they will surely spawn.
Killa can spawn in the middle and inside Brutal. If you open the KIBA store, it will make Killa go towards KIBA and guard the store from the outside.
Goshan
For Goshan, they all spawn in the middle of the open area with a truck, and they can roam around all the way to the back. They never go to the sides of Goshan as they are always in the middle.
As mentioned before, they also spawn near the tents, the cash registers, the cafe, and the escalators. The frequency in which they spawn is pretty common.
You should always find a couple of Scavs here in 9 out of 10 raids. However, if you wait long enough, they could spawn consistently throughout the raid. Killa can be seen around this area, so be careful here.
Power Station
The power station is another great source of farming Scavs. They can never spawn at the beginning of the raid because there is a PMC spawn here, but you can wait a few minutes, and the place will have a ton of Scavs.
There is a vehicle extraction here so you can bring Roubles every raid and try to extract through here if it is available. Sometimes it could be upwards of 15 minutes into the raid until they spawn, but it is pretty consistent that they will.
Father & Son
This area is probably the worst spot for farming Scavs, but it is worth mentioning since they can also spawn here. The store is located on the second floor on the IDEA side of the mall.
You can go up the escalator next to the Trend store and turn left. The Scavs should spawn in the hallways near the stores here.
Parking Basem*nts
The underground parking can also spawn a lot of Scavs, but they are hard to fight here because it is extremely dark. If you have a flashlight attached to your weapon, it should be a lot easier.
The tents near the OLI escalator and the IDEA escalator inside the parking area will be the hot spot for Scav spawns. Killa can also roam around here, but he is more frequently found near the big hole under Rasmussen.
Emercom Ramp
The Emercom ramp is located outside OLI in the direction of the Emercom Checkpoint extraction. Scavs cannot spawn at the start because PMCs can spawn here.
Wait for a few minutes, and Scavs should be roaming around the top of the ramp and below near the containers. They can also spawn on the road and even stand near the bushes of the white wall.
Best Scav Farming Route
If you spawn near the Railway extraction point, the closest entry to the mall would be in IDEA. Your route should be the following.
IDEA > Middle of the Interchange mall > Goshan > Emercom ramp (extract Emercom Checkpoint)
If the Emercom ramp is clear, you can go to the power station and hope the vehicle extract is there.
If you spawn near the Emercom Checkpoint extraction, your route should be the following.
OLI > Middle of the Interchange mall > Goshan > IDEA (extract Railway)
The routes could be altered, and if you spawn near the sides and enter through the parking basem*nts, you can always remember the spots and make your own path to farm Scavs.
