Some teachers would use slurs in class, and I didn't learn a single thing from them. Although, there were a few teachers, primarily in the math and science department, that provided a little bit of quality education. The funding was good, so the building was fairly well maintained and the food was decent quality. I would like to see more motivated staff at Gate City High School, the good ones are fantastic, but the bad teachers are very problematic. Some would allow bullying, disrespect, and even vaping in their classrooms. With a better staff, my rating of this school would rise tremendously....
